On October 27, 1978, the first brutal murder at the sleepy town of Saylor Lake occured at approximately 1:15 A.M. It's rolling green hillsides, tight-knit community and quaint town wouldn't know for almost a year the full scale of the events of October 27th, nor would anyone in Saylor Lake know what was to come.
Between October 27, 1978 and September 7, 1979, "The Saylor Lake Killer" would claim twelve victims, leaving behind curious clues and morbid, deeply dark messages, terrorizing the small community until eventually all of it's surviving residents fled Saylor Lake in hopes of forgetting the eleven months of hell, and shear terror.
In April 1980 with all of its residents gone, Saylor Lake was drained, the town dismantled, and the horrors effectively erased from history along with the victims. It is unknown whether the killer moved on to another bigger city, where such crimes could go unnoticed, and he could continue his sick game. Or perhaps he lost his desire to kill altogether, as sometimes happens with sexual sadists. There was also the chance that he himself had died, either by his own hand, natural causes, or ironically, had been the victim of homocide.
In desperate attempts to restore the small town Saylor Lake was renamed to Dietmar and a large boarding school was built amongst it's extent. In hopes of it's element of legend, and mystery to simply fade from existence or better yet transit into a profit. Ironically enough the school was named Saylor Lake Academy. Will Saylor lake be fulfilled to it's old glory days, or will history repeat itself only to drain the lifeless city once again? Will the case of the twelve gruesome murders ever be solved?
