summer vacation has always meant a trip across some ocean and a stay in luxury villas for nine families. this summer the children are being let loose and are allowed to visit sicily by themselves. there are 3 families from new york city (new york), los angeles (california), and miami (florida). each set of families has known each other their entire lives, their mothers all had their first child within a week of the others and were in the same birthing classes in their beloved city. every year since the eldest child was 5 years old the families have travelled together on a trip to a foreign country, where they have met the other families, since then all nine families have become close and always plan their vacations together. this year is no different, except that there is no parental supervision. what are a bunch of teenagers ever going to do with themselves.
