Symphony Academy is a large school situated in the middle of a small town in Vermont. Symphony is the perfect school for gifted students in the performing arts. It's rather prestigious for producing talented and famous performers.
Symphony is unique in it's acceptance process. The school takes both High School age and College age students in their classes and the entire town centers around the inhabitants of the school, while teachers live in houses surrounding the campus.
There are many majors at Symphony, but the most popular are the Music, Photography, Dance, Art, and Film. At the end of the year the school hosts a week long talent competition and talent agents come from all around the world to watch the performers do their thing.
Students at the High School age level are still expected to go to regular classes like Math and Science but it isn't as pushed upon them as other schools.
College age students are allowed to choose whatever classes they want. They have a later curfew as well, due to the age different to the high school level applicants. It's not rare for College age students to have classes with High School age students due to their abilities.
There is an unsaid rule between the two types of students as well. There are the rich kids that have everything handed to them on a silver platter and there are the Scholarship kids who actually have to work to stay in school. The rich kids do work their tails off but the Scholarship kids seem to think their lazy and vice versa. So the rich kids stick with the rich kids and the scholarship kids stick with the other scholarship kids. It's taboo to hang out with each other, or is it? So welcome to Symphony Academy, may you let your passions run wild, but don't lose yourself in the process.
